How to check your computer specifications

In my previous post I showed you the specifications of my laptop. In this post, I will show you how to get the full report of your machine. This is very easy and you will need little more than five seconds to do it.

1. Click on Windows logo on the taskbar.
2. Type 'dxdiag.exe' without quotes on the 'Search programs and files' box and press Enter. After you type it you will see something like this

3. Click on it and you will have the specifications of your computer. You will be able to check all type of information you want like your graphics card memory, RAM etc.

4. If you want to save the data, click on Save All Information and it will save it in a .txt format.

To know more about DxDiag click here.

Thanks to Sayantan for letting me know about this tool.
